1. Introduction

Dellegate ("we", "us", "our") is a task management and delegation app. This Privacy Policy explains:

2. Categories of Data We Collect

2.1 Identity & Account Information. Name, phone number, email address, and account credentials (passwords are stored as a one-way hash). You may also add a headline and profile photo.

2.2 User Content. Content you choose to create in Dellegate, including tasks, descriptions, reminders, calendar entries in the App, connections, and uploaded profile photos. This may include personal information you voluntarily add to a task.

2.3 Communication Data. Support conversations, email correspondence you send to us, and one-time verification codes we send to your email to confirm account creation.

2.4 Payment Information. This version of the App does not offer paid subscriptions and does not collect payment or card details.

2.5 Device & Usage Information. IP address as seen by our servers, device type, operating system, app version, feature usage needed to operate the service, crash diagnostics, and push notification device tokens.

2.6 Biometric Authentication. If you enable Face ID or fingerprint unlock, biometric data remains stored and processed on your device only. We do not collect or store biometric data on our servers.

3. How We Use Data

We use personal data to create and manage your account; send email verification codes when you register; provide task boards, assignments, reminders, and connections; send in-app and push notifications you request; prevent abuse; and comply with law.

We do not sell personal data. Dellegate does not send your content to generative AI providers.

4. Cloud Infrastructure & Storage

Your data is stored using secure cloud infrastructure, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) where configured, and object storage (Amazon S3 or compatible) for profile photos you upload.

Push notifications are delivered using Google Firebase Cloud Messaging. Account verification emails are sent through our SMTP email provider.

Data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Access to production systems is restricted.

5. Permissions Explained

Camera / photos. Used only when you choose a profile photo.

Notifications. Used to send reminders, task updates, connection alerts, and system alerts you enable.

Biometrics. Optional local unlock after you sign in.

Location. We do not collect precise location data.

Contacts. Dellegate does not request access to your contacts.

When you delete your account from the app (Profile → Delete account) or at /api/v1/legal/delete-account, we delete your profile, tasks, connections, photos, and notification data immediately.
